What would happen if we witnessed a performance, and as the curtain rose we realised that the actors were missing their faces? And what if the impatient audience began to rub their eyes until they realised that their gestures are the ones being shown onstage?
This Noche en blanco, Matadero Madrid is offering viewers a faces cabaret whose poetic action revolves around the idea of facial replacement, in which the actors (or characters) temporarily take on the face of the viewers, thus inverting the observer-observed dichotomy.
